urban escape
today was urban escape...woke up at seven...took a train to pasir ris there...when i arrive there...i was the second last there...hehe...huifen was the last...went over to mac to buy fillet-o-fish...reached pasir ris park...did the necessary registration and went to rent bike...$15 for a non-suspension bike! feng diao...ubin $6 for a full suspension bike lor! bleahz...had briefing and at 10, we started...
cycled all the way to the tampines mountain biking trail there...cycled round the trail and answered questions...after that, went to do archery...very fun! rox! my group shot over 80 points...so no time penalty! yay~ but i got some bruising from the bow string...ran all the way to do abseiling and ascending...let sophia and tze hwee try out ascending since they haven tried before...huifen and i went to do abseiling off 6 storeys i guess...met ah hock...the 26th chief instructor...ya...back to abseiling...the glove like no use one lor...my fingers got burnt! after that...ran to do rock-climbing where there is this er xin overhang to scale...could only get halfway across the overhang...cycled all the way back to do kayaking...then finish liao...
basically that is the whole race...lets go to the not formal commentary...hehez...one part when travelling...there was this TJC team of 2 guy 2 girls...1 girl was lagging very badly...but the 2 guys really not just shouted from the front "Faster! Faster!"...stupid pigs...then @ the rock wall...another team from RJC i think...really not cut queue lar...the station master know liao just bochup...sian...then got CJC and the 8 teams that they sent in...but they keep comparing the progress among themselves...then poor sophia feel down from her bike and grazed her two knees...ouch...
after getting our goodies bag...we went to return our bike and went to bath at the showering point near escape theme park...changed into the urban escape singlet given...walked to white sands to eat...but played at the playground before that...hahaz...ate at the food court...=)...after the meal...zheng wei, hui hui, yu jin, yee hung, hui fen and i went to suntec there the eng wah cinema there to watch "day after tomorrow"...the cinema is digital one...quality superb! shiok! but we wearing singlet really not freezing...luckily i got a hand towel and another polo t-shirt that i brought to keep warm...was eating "shan zha pian" while watching...very thrilling and exciting...worth the money all the way! =) with that, a whole day of events ended...=)
